Who's the host with the

Here's my tribute to good ol' Logan, Utah. Kaley West was quite the host last week! She visited me in Cedar Shmitty. I visited her in Shmlogan... What comes next? Kaley comes to The Shmetherlands!!!! Maybe? Please please PLEASE Papa West!!

This was a great few days. We had our Friends marathon.. Watched a couple movies on Matt Scheidell's heavenly couch.. Late night cones.. I got paid 5 Euro.. Sweet jackets from the Diggity Iggity. Pita Pit.. 5 minutes too late for True Aggie night.. lateness- what else is new with us.. The Poo Me bathroom. hahaha. And my favorite part about hanging out with Kaley is the fact that ever since we were in first grade, we LAUGH at anything and everything. Me and Kaley make eye contact and we start laughing. The "giggle girls". You don't find a best friend like Kaley everyday... This I know for sure. Not only was it great to get out of the house for a bit.. but it was great to reunite with my beat boxin nigggg.

"Can I ask you... what is that big red thing on your forehead?"

127 hours

Finally got to see 127 Hours. I don't know what it is about that kind of movie that intrigues me so much. Here's the quote that hit me the most...

"Hey there, Aron! Is it true that you didn't tell anyone where you were going?.. Yeah, that's true... OOPS."

All of my life I have been raised to make sure that someone always knows where I am going and about how long I'll be. But who's perfect? I don't always tell people where I am, especially if the whole point of my outing is to go to a place where no one knows where I'll be. I guess this movie put into perspective how smart it really is to let people know what you are doing, just in case. And where I'm going to a country that I don't even know what is around yet... I'm thinking this is the time to break my habit and keep at least one person updated on your plans for the day... (if it could be unsafe, of course). And freak. KUDOS to Aron Ralston.. who else can say that they cut off their freaking arm?!
Great movie.

Veroorzaak het goede leven.

I've been thinking about my next big adventure all day... Sami meets Holland.

So is it Holland, or The Netherlands...?

Urban dictionary informed me that Holland is in fact a province of The Netherlands.
'I don't live in Holland, I live in The Netherlands'... I guess I need to stop calling it "Holland".

When people ask me what I know about The Netherlands right now.. I say, I hear they've got some crazy cool tulips, windmills, and wooden shoes of course. The internet isn't quite doing it justice with showing me around The Netherlands.. I'm getting too excited and just need to get over there to explore and figure out The Netherlands in person for myself.

For now - Google images is the best I can do. Man, I can't wait to get my own shots of this place. February 3rd.. hurry and be here already.

Side note.
Netherlands adventure goal #1: Find this guy. Ask for a boat ride.. and his phone number.

Tot Ziens.
