127 hours

Finally got to see 127 Hours. I don't know what it is about that kind of movie that intrigues me so much. Here's the quote that hit me the most...

"Hey there, Aron! Is it true that you didn't tell anyone where you were going?.. Yeah, that's true... OOPS."

All of my life I have been raised to make sure that someone always knows where I am going and about how long I'll be. But who's perfect? I don't always tell people where I am, especially if the whole point of my outing is to go to a place where no one knows where I'll be. I guess this movie put into perspective how smart it really is to let people know what you are doing, just in case. And where I'm going to a country that I don't even know what is around yet... I'm thinking this is the time to break my habit and keep at least one person updated on your plans for the day... (if it could be unsafe, of course). And freak. KUDOS to Aron Ralston.. who else can say that they cut off their freaking arm?!
